The message board in our waiting room has multiple purposes.
Currently it displays this message amongst others:

Meningococcal meningitis or septicaemia infections have been worrying to many parents and teenagers recently. On the board are diagrams and pictures of the rash. Everyone is asked to familiarise themselves with this information. Doing so may possibly detect symptoms early and will also help people not worry about trivial or minor rashes that are not like meningococcal disease at all
